Ithaca Branch Renovations Near Complete
After several months of negotiation and preparation, the renovations of the Ithaca, New York, branch are almost finished. The space has been enlarged by 400 square feet and a new cork floor has been laid under the direction of Allen Pearce of the Portland, Oregon, branch with the help of local Ithaca members. The branch raised more than $9,000 for the floor and additional amenities, such as benches, mats, and more. In the words of Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA president Jane Edwards, “We are ‘floating’ in the space, enjoying the increased light.” There will be even more light in the space when the proposed skylights are installed in the space in the coming months.

Congratulations it looks georgeous. No such luck for us, we have the local village hall with a slidy wooden floor to practise on!
It looks absolutely amazing! Congratulations! I hope to practice with you all there soon.
