Dunedin, Florida, Hosts an International Workshop

_DSC7647Everything was cooking at the Taoist Tai Chi International Workshop, held in Dunedin Florida January 19th and 20th, 2013.  Andrew Hung led the workshop and was assisted by Karen Laughlin.  Emphasis was on balance, up, down, smooth movement and smiling! About 118 attended the workshop and about 90 attended the intensive. A Wonderful turnout. We filled the front parking lot for a set and the branch workout area very nicely. Most folks were from Florida along with members from Canada, the UK, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Colorado, Oregon and Texas. Speaking of cooking; the meals were prepared on-site even though there is no kitchen in the Dunedin branch. Sean Dennison led a great cooking crew, making meals Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday lunch and supper, and again lunch for Monday’s follow-on intensive.  They worked gas-fired woks and a deep fryer outside, augmented by a convection oven and rice cookers inside. “The Taoist Tai Chi Eating Society” struck again! A very enjoyable event.
