June 21-22 2013: 99 participants from Canada (Windsor, Sarnia), and the United States (Toledo, Columbus, Cincinnati, Detroit, Kalamazoo and Chicago), attended the program at the University of Windsor.
The morning session focused on foundations while the afternoon had participants in smaller groups discovering a deeper understanding of the first 17 movements.
The event began Friday evening at Yan’s Kitchen Restaurant where members joined Tony Kwong and John Huang for a delicious Chinese dinner.
Thanks to the many volunteers, family and friends who came together Friday and Saturday to wash, chop, cook and set up, a Saturday buffet style lunch that was successfully enjoyed at the Windsor Branch. The closing of the weekend was marked by members sharing dinner Saturday night.
A full weekend offering the opportunity for many branch members to learn and share together was a huge success.
