Taoist Tai Chi Awareness at International Plowing Match

On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, volunteers from  the Southwest Aarea of the Central Branch took part in the parade and a demo at the 100th anniversary of the International Plowing Match in Perth County, Ontario.

Through the generosity of  FLK we were ably assisted by four young volunteers from the International Centre, who performed as two lions in the parade as well as helping with the demo. The lions caused much excitement along the parade route, particularly with the children.  Many oohs and aahs were heard when the lions were sighted. The addition of younger members was also a big asset to the demo.

Many thanks to all who helped make the day a great promotion for our organization, particularly the Centre volunteers.
