Progress with the construction of FLK Temple on Steeles Avenue, Toronto.

Since the ground breaking ceremony, big leaps forward are made with the construction site of our Steeles Avenue location in Toronto.
As you might recognize when reflecting on your dan-yu, it can take a while before even a solid foundation is laid…
After 5 years of working hard get the construction started, the foundation of what will be a beautiful site for our practice was laid earlier this year.
Designed by award-winning Toronto architect Brigitte Shim, the elevated one-storey, flat-roof temple is supported by seven sets of columns to allow for parking spaces and circulation beneath the structure.
The building is expected to be finished in March 2014.
