Kindergarten Tai Chi in Helmond

Last weekend was playtime again in the TTCS Centre Netherlands in Helmond. On Friday 63 members gathered for an intensive for seniors led by Judy Millen. She helped us with the question about the most important thing in a don-yu. So we worked on Pushing the floor away. During the weekend Judy led an international workshop. She took 80 participants back to the basics with kindergarten Tai Chi. It was a lot of fun. Main theme for the weekend: what is a tor-yu and try to find it in the set. A wonderful journey with many smiling faces and lots of personal discoveries. On Saturday evening we celebrated Chinese New Year with 138 members, family and friends. We all enjoyed the speeches, testimonials, a Tai Chi demo, rich table conversations and a very delicious dinner. It was the first time the cooking crew for this event was local (Dutch and Belgian members) and they did an excellent job. We are very glad two members of the City Council joined us as our honored guests. One of the many treats of the evening was a Dutch-Portugese fado song performed by two members. A good example of working together in harmony. What a wonderful weekend and so good to go back to the basics.

Feeling happy and proud to see our national flag at the centre and being part of a global organization. Thank you to TTCS Netherlands for the nice gesture. All the best in The Year of The Horse.
