Central London Hosts First International Intensive

Intensive participants in London could have gone all night.

Last night (22nd Nov) we had our first International intensive in central London.

Marsha Eberhardt flew in fresh from the five-day international instructor workshop in the Netherlands, successfully navigated the mysterious art of the London transport system with the help of a local member, and joined the London branch committee for a pre-intensive meal. Visitors from far and wide took time out of their busy schedules to join us for this exciting event. There were 60 of us from near and far, Sue from Lincolnshire, Val from South Wales, Annika from just around the corner to mention just a few. Marsha brought with her a flavour of the workshop that made all of us feel part of the international society. She shared with us her understanding of the dan-yu, tor-yu and snake, and the energy in the room made us feel like we could carry on all night. The first two hours flew by before a break for tea and some home-baked delights. At the end of the intensive the room was buzzing with energy and with the help of many we quickly cleaned up before having to depart.
