Learning How to Make the Dragon Dance

In preparation for Grand Openings in Niagara and Stratford, Ontario, about 30 members gathered at the International Centre in Orangeville to learn how to dance the dragon. Under the direction of Julie from Montreal, they walked, ran, zigzagged, spiralled and pretzeled the many-legged beast. Everyone had a lot of fun and discovered new ways to use our Tai Chi. Niagara is hosting their Grand Opening on April 2, and Stratford’s is scheduled for May 28. The two branches hope to help each other because, as they learned, it takes 21 legs plus many extras to jump in if someone needs replacing.
