Kentucky Branch Celebrates Chinese New Year

On March 5th, the Louisville, Kentucky, Branch held its annual Chinese New Year Banquet at their center. Thirty members, family and invited guests attended the celebration. Dinner was catered by Jasmine Chinese Cuisine and attendees brought a piece of fruit to share for dessert. The event was topped off with entertainment provided by local musician Warren Ray, who treated us to some soothing sounds of electric sitar. Members shared stories, personal tai chi experiences and traveling adventures to various tai chi workshops, health recovery week in Orangeville and International Awareness Day in Toronto. It was indeed a great celebration and a great way to start off the Year of the Rabbit.
