Recently Karen Laughlin and Sean Dennison visited the Taoist Tai Chi Society in Aruba in connection with the soon to be reconstructed property, which was purchased by Fung Loy Kok last year. During this visit Karen and Sean gave an intensive to approximately 50 members, including members of the health recovery class. We managed to use the limited space of the Center well and especially for some very new members it was quite an experience.
Many meetings were conducted and much was learned to be able to continue with the reconstruction of the TTC Center in Aruba.
On the last day, early on the Sunday morning, many members came together to practice Taoist Tai Chi outdoors at the nearby Wilhelmina Park and experience doing Don Yus while singing Happy Birthday to Sean. Afterwards we joined for a nice breakfast at the Center. We were able to share some Tai Chi experience in Aruba and very much enjoyed the story telling by Karen and Sean. We ended our gathering with an official part where the Services Agreement between the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism and the Taoist Tai Chi Society Aruba was signed, witnessed by the members present.
The Taoist Tai Chi Society Aruba thanks Karen, Sean and Fung Loy Kok for making this historic moment in the life of the Aruba Society possible.
