Think You Are Too Old for Taoist Tai Chi? Midwest Nonagenarians Subject of Newspaper Feature

Screen Shot 2013-11-23 at 6.35.11 PMTwo nonagenarians at the Midwest Branch’s Arlington Heights location (near Chicago) were featured in a recent Daily Herald article about the health benefits of Taoist Tai Chi. Student Eleanor Peet (age 90) and instructor Maxine Kitts (age 91)

Both credit their good health and mobility to their nearly 20 years of practicing the ancient Chinese internal art.

“It’s kept me active enough that I don’t feel my age,” Kitts says.
