First batch bottled!

After boiling down the sap for two days – and lots of jogging back and forth between the kitchen and the “lab” – , the first batch of maple syrup got bottled sunday afternoon at the International Centre. It turned out to be absolutely delicious syrup, so of course we had no problem ‘cleaning’ the bottom of the pot:)

We’re tapping about 100 trees by now, and the temperature is rising more and more, so there are lots of opportunities to come help out and get a taste!
