On Mother’s Day, no woman in the kitchen!

Mother’s Day banquet was held in our centre in Bratislava on 10th May.

34 people attended the banquet and they created a pleasant atmosphere. Marek Šedivý, the President of TTCS Slovakia, had a very nice speech which made some of the mothers almost cry. Every woman got a rose and could enjoy the rich programme. Children performed folk dances in traditional costumes. Our members read poems. Another member played the guitar and his  six- year-old daughter played the violin. Very good food and a lot of cakes were served, as usual.

At the end of the banquet, there was another very nice surprise for the women: the men washed all the dishes and cleaned after the banquet. “On Mother’s Day,  no woman in the kitchen!” they claimed.

What a beautiful idea giving a rose to all mothers, well done for holding a great day.
