Three ways to chop with fist

On the weekend of July 19 and 20 the San Francisco Bay area branch hosted a regional intensive led by the inimitable Virginia Amos. In addition, Virginia generously held a mini-intensive the preceding Thursday night at the DSG Center in San Francisco for people who were unable to get out to Pleasant Hill for the 2-day intensive. A capacity crowd studied the three ways we do “chop with fist” in the set. Who knew there were that many? During the weekend, over 40 of us worked on, among other moves, toryus, “wave hands,” and “snakes,” three ways.
