Newfoundland Taoist Tai Chi branch participants create unique quilt for silent auction

Planning months in advance, several members of the Newfoundland Branch began stitching quilt squares. Each person picked their own fabrics, and sewed the squares according to their own design ideas. When the squares were ready, one person pieced them together and quilted it all. In the magnificent way that unrelated sections blend into a beautiful final creation, the finished quilt is stunning. Everyone was in awe when it was displayed for the first time at our annual Silent Auction in December.

Now the Branch is selling tickets to raffle the quilt to one of our lucky members. The winner will be selected at the Chinese New Year celebration on February 21, 2015.
