The Alabama Branch of TTCS-USA hosted a Tai Chi Sword workshop April 21-22, 2012, which raised $15,400 for construction of the kitchen for the Denver Branch. Participants from out of town were greeted on Friday night with a “Meet and Greet” event at the Montgomery Center. On Saturday night, workshop participants joined local members for a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Alabama Branch, featuring a dragon-shaped 20th Anniversary Cake. Greetings and best wishes were conveyed by TTCS-International President Karen Laughlin (who was the workshop leader), TTCS-USA National Board Member Mary Lou Gabbert, and SE Regional Management Committee Member Marion Varner.
